Fire Door Inspections: Photographed, Tagged, and Fully Documented
Non-invasive fire door inspections. We photograph and tag every door, record gaps, closers, seals, hinges, glazing, and certification, then issue a prioritised action plan.
Request a Free QuoteFire doors are one of the most critical passive fire protection measures in any building, but only when they're correctly specified, installed, and maintained. A poorly performing fire door can fail to provide the protection it's designed for when it matters most.
Everstone Fire & Security provides non-invasive fire door inspections for residential blocks, HMOs, commercial premises, and communal areas. We photograph and tag every door, then record gaps, closers, seals, hinges, glazing, and certification against current standards. A non-invasive inspection is a visual assessment: we do not remove architraves or open up the structure, so any concealed defects are noted for a more in-depth survey where needed.
You receive a written report with a condition record for every door and a prioritised action plan setting out remedial works. Once repairs are complete, we offer a paid reinspection so you have documented evidence that issues have been resolved.

Beyond the report
If anything needs fixing, we can manage that too
Where your report identifies repairs, upgrades, or remedial works, you don't have to source contractors yourself. As part of the Everstone group, we work with a network of trusted third-party contractors and manage works across our portfolios every day. We'll arrange the right trade, oversee the job, and keep you updated, end to end.

What does a non-invasive inspection cover?
It is a visual assessment of each door and its hardware: gaps, closers, seals, hinges, glazing, and certification. We do not remove architraves or open up the structure, so any concealed issues are flagged for a more in-depth survey.
Do you inspect every door?
Yes. We photograph and tag every fire door so each one has a traceable condition record in your report.
What happens after repairs are done?
We offer a paid reinspection once remedial works are complete, giving you documented evidence that the issues have been resolved.
